Slim Aarons is an American photographer known for capturing (in his own words) ‘attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.’ However, life wasn’t always cocktails in exotic locations for Aarons. The photographer began his career photographing soldiers in combat during World War II, for which he received a Purple Heart.After the war, Aarons set his sights on capturing the lifestyle of the rich and famous. By winning the trust of his subjects, he was able to shoot some of the most intimate and candid portraiture of the 20th century. Beverly Hills Hotel was taken in 1957, and it features cars parked outside the infamous hotel, located on Sunset Boulevard. The C-Type photography print is available in a range of sizes, and is part of an open edition, stamped by the publisher. Thinking about framing?
